Western Kazakhstan: The Kazakh Caspian Depression is a comprehensive 90,000-word regional guidebook published by Planet Esoterica, an indie publishing imprint I set up in 2021. Covering the Atyrau, Mangystau, West Kazakhstan, and western Aktobe Regions—an area slightly larger than France—the book blends detailed cultural, historical, and geographical insights with practical travel information. It stands as the most comprehensive English-language travel resource available on the region.

Due for release in early 2026, Desert Fortresses of Karakalpakstan is a photographic monograph showcasing 40 ancient fortifications scattered across the Amu Darya Delta—historically known as Khorezm, Khwarazm, or Chorasmia. Each site is presented with high-resolution imagery, GPS coordinates, and concise descriptions outlining key structural features and historical context.

Eastern Tajikistan | A Visual Exploration of Life in the Pamirs is a photographic book published by The Ripcord Adventure Journal and the World Explorers Bureau

I was the editor of Menik the Little Mammoth, a 40-page illustrated children’s book written by Yakutian author Evdokiya “Ogdo” Irintseeva and illustrated by Uzbek-British artist Timur Akhmedjanov. Irintseeva’s fairy tale was awarded a prize by Hertfordshire Press’ Art Director, Aleksandra Vlasova. She dedicates her life to encouraging children’s creativity and works as an editor at Keskil, a children’s newspaper distributed across Russia’s Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
