Landscapes of the World

This landscapes gallery showcases a curated selection of images taken across Eurasia, spanning Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia’s remote republics, and parts of the Middle East. From the icy Pamir Mountains and vast Central Asian deserts to chalk escarpments, alpine valleys, and windswept plateaus, the photographs reflect the diversity and scale of these extraordinary regions. Many of these images were shot during long overland expeditions, often covering hundreds of kilometres by foot, horseback, kayak, or ski.
